WHAT IS MICROPIGMENTATION OR PERMANENT EYES?

Micropigmentation is also known as permanent cosmetics, semi-permanent cosmetics, permanent makeup, semi-permanent makeup, or tattoo cosmetics.
It is a professional procedure used to give clients the look of long lasting applied makeup. It is done by a skilled, licensed professional,
who uses a handheld machine to gently embed micro pigments into the skin. It is perfect for people who want to enhance their lips, eyes, or eyebrows
without having to extend their daily beauty regime. Micropigmentation is ideal for clients of all types. The main services that are performed are eyeliner and lips.

WHO NEEDS PERMANENT EYELINER?

Clients receiving permanent eyeliner are from every range of need, whether it be someone looking
to have the minimal done with a “lash enhancement eyeliner” or an artistic bold liner, it’s all available.

ANY SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS BEFORE THE TREATMENT?

No alcohol or energy drinks 24 hours prior to appointment
If you have Diabetes or a heart condition, a medical release from your Physician will be required
Discontinue Vitamin A, retinols, Retin A with acids 2 weeks prior to your appointment
Do not take blood thinners, including Ibuprofen, aspirin, niacin, Vitamin E or fish oils for 72 hours before your procedure

CONSULTATION: HONESTY REALLY IS THE BEST POLICY

The questions asked during your initial consultation are critical not only to the end-result…but to your health and safety as well. Answering honestly and being open about things like medications, health concerns and prior procedures is imperative. We cover a lot of information in our consultations and we want you to be confident and ready prior to any work being done…so questions from you are not only welcome…but expected!

AFTERCARE

Avoid sleeping on your face for 7 days after the procedure.
No Sun, sweating, or tanning after the procedure for 10 days.
No swimming for at least 10 days…or until the area is completely healed. Salt water and chlorine can cause the pigments to fade or change color.
Only touch the treated areas with clean hands. Do not rub, scratch or pick the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate. Picking can cause scarring and loss of pigment.
Over the next couple of days, your tattoo will look good and any redness should go away. Then you will notice that it will start to look duller and can even form a little white haze to it. You may see some scabbing form as well, or mild flaking. This is all normal.

HOW LONG DOES THE HEALING TAKE?

Generally, 4 to 6 weeks…but everyone’s skin is different. Color intensity will be darker immediately after the procedure, and will slowly fade more as healing continues. Your new permanent makeup will go through several phases during the healing cycle. The color of the pigment will soften gradually. This might give you the impression that the color pigment is fading too quickly, but it is a normal part of the process. After the healing process is complete, you will be ready for your touch-up.

TOUCH UPS

Understand that the touch-up appointment is part of the total procedure…and not simply a second full session.

ALLERGIES

Numbing cream contains Lidocaine. So if you have a Lidocaine allergy be advised you will have to do the procedure with no numbing. This can be more uncomfortable…but is generally tolerable for most people.

PERMANENT COSMETICS DURING PREGNANCY

Sorry…but if you are pregnant or breast-feeding we can not move forward with the procedure due to hormonal stress factors.

A 48 hour notification is required for cancellations. Cancellations inside the 48 hour window will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price
